Dr Aleksandra Toborowicz is a Polish visual artist – book designer, muralist, abstract painter and academic teacher.
In 2008 graduated from Department of Graphic Design at the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, Poland. She obtained her PhD in Fine Arts in 2015.
 Since 2009 he has been working as an academic teacher at his alma mater at the Faculty of Graphic Arts in the Department of Graphic Design.
Since 2021 she has been the head of the Lettering and Typography Studio at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, Poland. 
Since 2020 she has been the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Graphic Arts.
She specializes in publishing design and typography, but also makes designs of posters, ID and websites - she is the author of the website of Virtual Museum of Erotic Art awarded internationally by: European Design Awards Silver Medal, Trnava Poster Triennale, Machina Design Awards, Transvizualia (muzeumerotyzmu.pl) in 2009. 
Others awards: Golden (2), Silver, Bronze (2) and (3) Iron A' Design Award for books and ID and website in A’ Design Award and Competition (2015, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021), winner in 50 Books in 50 books | 50 covers (3) organized by Design Observer and AIGA, Polish Graphic Design Awards - 2018, the Merit Award in the Hiii Typography 2014, European Design Award, Communication Arts – Exhibit Online 2015, Behance and Editorial Design Served, the Most Beautiful Books of the Year (2015, 2018, 2019, 2021). An award of the Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, the National Education Committee Medal 2015, Art of Packaging; scholarship of Ministry of Culture and Heritage "Mloda Polska" in 2010 and scholarship of Ministry of Culture and Heritage in 2016, 2002 and 2020. Member of a board Foundation Znaczy Się (2012–2013).
